After spending the summer building Ward through broadcasts, gatherings, and collaborations, we closed the season by taking the radio onto the Mediterranean. The day brought together Jana, RASSLXN B2B Nova, Martina, and SAREENA, moving naturally between bass-heavy selections, club sounds, and experimental directions with the water and the community. From Alexandria, beyond the airwaves.
Ward Radio started as an idea around music, radio and community. Taking that idea out of the studio, Shabab El Ward brought the community together in Downtown Alexandria for a night moving between electronic music, club music, experimental selections, and influences from different places and scenes. The evening brought together RASSLXN, $AVAGE, 2WIX, EIN AQL, HE/SHAM, and DOB3I, with immersive visuals by Kiro & Groovy. From the airwaves to the dancefloor, it was about creating a physical space for artists, listeners, and friends to connect.
A community gathering where collage, music, and conversation came together. In collaboration with Deli Alexandria and artist Tiana Kader, Ward Radio curated the soundtrack for an afternoon of creativity, connection, and shared ideas.
A rooftop celebration blending music, craft, football, and late-night dancing. Together with Jostra, Ward Radio curated a full day of music, from the first workshop to the last dance, bringing together local artists, DJs, and music lovers in Alexandria.
